Today I managed to fix the problem that I have been having with Runescape and my real computer.  That's right!  I can officially play RS again!  I was so happy!  So, I quickly jumped on and began messing around, doing nothing in particular... I seem to be having a serious lag problem, though, really crippling my playing. =(

 

Swallow and I are planning on going out and seeing what new there is to see, since JaGeX always likes making small graphical updates.  We'll be doing that later tonight, though, so expect a possible edit or second post later tonight.

I logged in to my email today and noticed an email from Luke.  I haven't been on Runescape regularly since this summer, and the email brought back a lot of good memories from those days.  Naturally, I went to the official forums to check up on recent news.  It was great to see that Luke and Ice are still, for the most part, carrying on.  We've got some big goals ahead for this summer. 

 

I'm a junior in high school right now, so this summer will probably be the last summer I have playing Runescape.  Somber news, I know.  What with Steve leaving a few months ago, it seems like the clan is in dire need of new blood to carry on the traditions after Luke and I leave.

Cool, RSM's got blogs now.  I've missed a lot since I first registered!  Well, I guess that means I'll be writing about my Runescape life in these blogs, along with real life things pertaining to RS.  I'll try to write something daily, sometimes I'll have a full, epic account of my day's travels, sometimes I'll have something as simple as "Leveled [BLANK] up today."

Yes, it's a permanent killer. So I'm on my voyage to 99 Strength, and it's pretty time consuming. To be honest, I actually found Fletching more enjoyable. I'm currently 93 Strength, and I am training at spiders. In my opinion, 90 - 99 Strength would be very expensive due to the fact that it's about 2k to exchange Tuna per inventory. Wish me luck guys, I'm doing it "old skool" and it's killing me. 

REALLY GOOD WAY: With a noose wand, go north of Sinclair Mansion, up, up, up, up, up, all the way to the entrance to Keldagrim, keep going north until it starts getting snowy (Low-level players should be careful here as there are level 60 sabre-toothed kyatts so don’t accidently attack them.) Carry on going up, go up the ice stairs and start catching polar kebbits (How?) (level 1 hunter). When you have done that, dump their meat and bones on the floor and keep the fur (3k approx). Do that a couple of times and you’ll be rich!

•  Kill lots & lots of unicorns (Level 15) (1 respawns near the beginning point for the “Lost City” quest, Barbarian Villiage (2) and north of Catherby (2-3)) & pick up the unicorn horn (That’s why it’s members only. The unicorn horn is a members only item.). Keep on doing this and then sell them all. They are over 900 gp so if you filled your inventory with them you will get over 25,200 gp (Do this 20 times and you can buy a dwarf cannon!)!!!!! Amount: Quite big
• Kill loads of cows, cook all the beef, and definitely take the cowhides. Sell them all at the Grand Exchange. Total Amount: Medium but if you do it a couple of times: Big
• Dump all your stuff in the bank except your three most useful items (this is to make sure if you die, you don’t lose anything) then, go to the Barbarian Village (North of Draynor Manor, East of Taverly, West of Varrock, South of Edgeville) in the middle of the village there is a hole. Climb down it. You are now in the Stronghold of Security. Look around and you should see a red door. Go through it. Go up to the 2nd door and answer the security question. Now you are in Level 1. I walked through this with no battles (even though it’s swarming with monsters) at Combat Level 15. For monster details and the safest way through Level 1, click here to go to Runescape Wiki’s page about Stronghold of Security. When you get to the end, you will get 2000 coins. Also, if you have your recovery questions set, you get the “Flap” emote! Total Amount: Quite Big (Really big for beginners!)
• Do the “Pirates Treasure” quest. You will get an uncut emerald, a gold ring and 450 coins. If you sell the emerald & gold ring, you could get somewhere between 740-1200 coins. Total Amount: Good for newbies (not great in other words)
